All gift items are wrapped in high-quality gift wrap before being securely packaged for delivery.
Most of our pieces are handmade and delicate in nature.
Please care for any Victoria Percival product as you might any other items made from precious metals. Please take extra care with flexible wire pieces as bending the wire too hard (or in a very cold environment) may cause the wire to snap. We cannot take any responsibility for any pieces that are broken or damaged by heavy handiness. Please treat each piece with care and love.
For best results please keep your items in the protective packaging provided, wrapped in the acid free tissue paper provided as moisture in the air can tarnish all metals over time.
Victoria Percival recommends Jonelle silver jewellery cleaning dip and polishing cloths for silver items. Gentle cleaning with a soft toothbrush and toothpaste can also work for some costume jewellery to restore shine and lustre that may dull over time.
Crowns and jewellery featuring pearls are better cleaned with a soft polishing cloth as some jewellery dips can damage pearls. Larger crystals and stones can be buffed for a beautiful shine using a jewellery cloth.
Our products can be cleaned in the same way as other jewellery, but please be delicate and follow the instructions on your chosen method of cleaning.
Gold crowns and jewellery can be cleaned using a gold jewellery dip available from most large supermarkets and rhodium plated items will not need cleaning as they will not tarnish (but could benefit from sonic cleaning every decade to retain the shine).
IMPORTANT: Please note that hairspray or perfume applied directly to the crown or jewellery will cause discolouration and can irreversibly damage these precious metals. We will not be responsible for replacing items damaged in this way. All products sent are hand selected and packaged for a high quality service. We do not offer refunds for damaged items but will happily exchange the item (like for like) if it is damaged during transit to you.
We want you to be over the moon with your purchase, but understand that from time to time you may wish to return or exchange a product. If you're not happy for any reason please contact email@example.com to let us know and request a Returns Form.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
You will be entitled to return a product to us and receive a refund where:
(a) we receive a Return Request within 14 calendar days from the date you receive your order, and we receive the returned product within 14 calendar days of receiving this Return Request;
(b) the returned product is unused, in its original packaging and otherwise in a condition enabling us to sell the product as new;
(c) none of the exclusions set out below in the section 'EXCLUSIONS' apply.
Please make sure your parcel is properly packaged in its original box to avoid any damage in transit back to us. Items which arrive damaged due to improper packaging will not be exchanged or refunded.
You will be responsible for paying postage costs associated with returns. Returns must be sent through a trackable delivery service, ensuring it is appropriately insured. We do not take any responsibility and cannot process a refund for items that are not received and request that you contact your delivery provider directly in these cases.
The following kinds of products may not be returned under this policy:
(a) Earrings for pierced ears - all earrings for pierced ears are non-returnable due to strict hygiene control.
(b) Bespoke and customised goods - pieces that have been changed/amended/ adjusted in style, colour or fit from our standard pieces offered on our website.
As a small business we take extreme pride in handling each piece ourselves personally with great attention and care. Our products are quality checked and carefully hand packaged so it is extremely unlikely any pieces will ever leave us damaged - however occasionally the delivery service will handle a package roughly and the contents may become damaged in transit. In this case, we will happily replace the item for you and cover the re-delivery costs ourselves. We will not refund or exchange damaged items, we only replace them with the same item (like for like).
If you believe your products are damaged please notify us immediately upon receipt.
We will happily provide a refund to you within 14 days once the item(s) have reached us safely. We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.
All packages are delivered using tracked services with recorded signed receipt. Tracking numbers will be provided once the order has been fulfilled. If there's no one to accept the parcel at the time of delivery, the delivery service will leave a card for you to arrange collection or re-delivery.
Standard delivery uses Royal Mail, or couriers for specific circumstances.
